•Notepad++

oThe configuration process will involve editing large text files, XML and other file formats.  This may be performed with any capable text editor.  Pd' Programming recommends Notepad++ for this purpose.  It is good at handling large files, and provides formatting, syntax highlighting and data validation.

The following Notepad++ Plugins have been useful when preparing configurations at Pd' Programming:

▪XML Tools - Provides XML validation and formatting. Also provides XPath evaluation

▪Compare - Compares two text files side-by-side.
